Primary Objectives

In total, Saving Wallden has 9 objectives:
  • CASTLE: This is your training objective where you will practice different attacks and take on three mini-bosses each guarding the west, south, and east corridor of the royal castle.
    • There are 3 phases to this objective, each involve participating in 3 training sessions and 1 mini boss battle. Completing all 3 phases completes this objective.
  • CHASER: These are the hurry-ups in the game. Throughout your adventure, an ogre and his Goblins chase you around and tries to intercept you. Complete 3 phases of hurry-ups to out-run the CHASER and complete the objective.
  • SNIPER: This is the main multiball in the game. A SNIPER is scoping you out in the shadows of Wallden's buildings ready to take you out. You must spot the SNIPER before he does and then take him out along with other snipers. Collect 50 jackpots (multipliers included) to complete this objective.
  • DRAGON: Three massive dragons seek to burn you alive. Defeat the dragons using your crossbow while avoiding being caught on fire to complete this objective.
  • VIKING: An army of Vikings march towards you with the goal to overwhelm you with their attacks. Kill all the Vikings by shooting shots repeatedly to complete this objective.
  • ESCAPE: The building is about to collapse! You need to quickly get yourself and your adventurer crew out of the building. Doing so successfully completes this objective.
  • BLACKSMITH: One of the citizens in the town is a well-renowned Blacksmith. Visit him often to increase your armor class / defenses to its maximum and complete this objective.
  • FINAL BOSS: After completing the 7 objectives above, you must free the King and Queen and face the Final Boss head-on. This is going to be a very difficult and dangerous battle.
  • 8<3: After completing the final boss, you will be subject to the final judgment. The decisions you made when playing the objectives will determine your judgment. And what happens next will be determined by your judgment.

Progress Indications

There are 9 diamond lights in the center of the playfield representing each of the 9 table objectives (including the 7 primary objectives). The light state and color indicates to the player how far they progressed in each objective so far. The states are as follows:
  • Off: Player has not attempted the objective yet
  • Flashing: Objective / feature is in progress now
  • On (dim): Objective progress was made, but objective is not yet completed.
  • On (full): Objective is complete.
The colors are as follows:
  • Orange: Objective is 0-33% complete.
  • Amber: Objective is 34-66% complete.
  • Yellow: Objective is 67-99% complete.
  • Dark Green: Wizard is ready but not yet started (BLACKSMITH and FINAL BOSS only).
  • Red: Objective is complete; character was killed (or player attempted to spare and failed).
  • White: Objective is complete; SPARE was chosen and succeeded.
  • Purple: Objective is complete; the character fled (neither spared nor killed). Only used for BLACKSMITH.
